Trying to code the IHK unit such that i dont have to keep hitting the automatic recirculation button whenever i switch on my AC.

Found Automatic Recirculated Air (AUC) and Automatic Recirculated Air (AUC) Airconditioning. anyone knows the difference?

The options you see from the snippet have just been enabled by me. orignal is ece and nicht_aktiv

An E85 feature is that cooling mode is extended from 12 to 15 minutes in tropics coding
(hot country). When the control variable (y-factor) is below -90%, the fresh air/recirculating
air flap is set to recirculating air for maximum 12 minutes. As a result, warm air is not blown
directly at the driver/passenger.
After this period of 12 minutes has elapsed, if the control variable is below -90%, the fresh
air/recirculating air flap is set to 20% fresh air.

As was the case with previous heating/air conditioning systems, the AUC/recirculating air
function also features "forced ventilation with fresh air," the activation and duration of which
depends on whether the system is in A/C mode (compressor active). The fresh air is already
dehumidified if the A/C compressor is ON, therefore, the duration of recirculating air mode
is longer.

I would have expected the memory to remember the setting, and AUC-AC to have already been on. Have your edits worked?

For now, it remembers my settings, even after locking the car however, thats only true if the knob for fan control is on the "ON"position. if i switch off the airconditioning system completely, then lock the car with th ekey out, unlock and start up, once i turn it on, it does not remember its state. So it only work as long as the airco is always on the "ON" position before taking the key out of ignition.

Yes, for the auto AC to work you need to have the fan on at least one click. The auto button and the Auto Recirc button on mine remembers what you set them to when you turn the car on and off.
