Diesel Z4

Just wondering if anyone here has heard of any rumours about a possible diesel version of the Z4 coming out???
 
People had the same reaction to the new model Audi TT when they announced the 2litre Tdi. But we ordered one and when it arrived I have to say we foound it to be a fantastic motor.
 
I can't see the problem as long as the diesel-engined Z4 is powerful (6-cylinder with twin-turbo). But I will not buy one though. :)
 
Yep, as long as it is the biggest best diesel engine then fine. But then why not just get the biggest baddest petrol?

The only reason they would put a diesel in there is for cheapskates, and that means a dreary sub 200bhp engine in a 1500kg+ car no doubt...
