Dieing to live .... Living to die..... My cancer road.

thanks for the love guys, just coming out the penultimate chemo, ive been spending lots of time in the garage with the z4 ( i cant drive at all during chemo week) and the sheer pleasure of just sitting in the car, hearing the engine rumble away gives me so much joy    spent 4 hours in the garage last night just taking in the Z and appreciating life.

one of left guys i can hopefully close the door on this chapter.

Been avoiding this for sometime, lost a couple of family members to the big C so it's not the best subject for me.

On a positive, I can't help thinking there's something to be done here...what about a charity zed meet at your shop? I'd happily put some cash in for the cause? You'll have to make the tea's though!

I'll be up for that if I can make it! Lost my first wife to adrenal cancer, so rare they haven't really worked out how to even treat it yet.
I have to say it was MacMillan's that picked me up and pulled me through it all. The way they carry on caring even after the event is awesome. Always happy to step up and donate to anything that helps people who are impacted in any way by this.

thanks guys,

i would LOVE LOVE to give something back and next year ill be doing the 3 peaks to raise money, but the car meet is an exceptional ideal... i cant believe i didnt think of it... i will get on this for spring! such a good idea.

Enuff Zed, so sad :-( the pain and suffering ive seen has been life changing, being one of the lucky few ( hopefully that continues) its changed me forever.

Glad to hear you’re feeling good and on the mend, beedub

Must be one hell of an awakening going through that.

I’m up for a car meet next year, all the best with your recovery Byron 8)

Good to hear things are looking positive for you Byron.

I can't imagine there are too many people who haven't been affected by it in some way - I lost a cousin to it before he was 40, as well as his Father and Grandfather.

I'd definitely be up for a fund-raising event next year.

Wow, I'm slowly reading through all the posts. It's shocking how many members have experiences with cancer in some form or another. I think in life we all know of someone in our lives that's been affected by this disease. I can't offer any better words, than those that have already been said. But treat everyday like a new day, as life is a gift.
Stay Spartan .....Aroof!!

If only the scientific world pulled together as they have with Covid, I am sure they could come up with a cure for Cancer in all it's forms.
Hopefully they will learn what is now possible if they have the will.

I just wish they could come up with a cure for male pattern baldness, instead of directing me to the January sale at Carpetright
