Did you ever make your driving instructor go nuts at you?

What driving Instructor? :?

You must mean my dad. 8) (GRHS)

In which case, I probably did. But not often anything to do with driving.

not mad at me but someone cut me up and i nearly crashed. A minute later we saw the car just ahead waiting at the traffic lights, instructor got out and walked up to the other car, tapped on the window and then when it opened, he reached in and took out the car keys and threw them in a bush. We then drove off.

On another occasion we were driving down the high road when he pointed at another car and said the driver was one of his lessons and had passed the week before. He saw us and waved and then promptly went into the back of a bus

Priceless

I mounted a kerb in one of my early lessons. The instructor must have been asleep as he didnt seem to notice / care.

I had about 7 different instructors and cars during my time as a learner which didnt help much...

My father taught me to heel and toe and blip on the down changes before I started lessons. Also very handy when doing hill starts. Drove my driving instructor up the wall!

Guess you didn't need to do a hill start Ruby on your test :poke:
Thankfully there are no hills around here :D

There are hills every where, around here the favourite one for the test was called "The Pitch" as it was at least a 1 in 10 :o even at the top where it meet the main road :o :o

Luckily I did my training and the test in an Austin Aggro [Allegro] which has hydrogas suspension so finding the clutch bite was a piece of P :)

Examiner chose to slam the brakes on at first junction as I pulled out in front of a Polo.
I asked him if I should just go straight back to the test centre.he said no and the rest off my test was in his words ' faultless' but he failed me for it.
My instructor had a Micra for all my lessons and then turned up for the second test in a metro.
No big deal apart from the wiper and indicator stalks were on the opposite sides....
