I left uni in a mountain of debt and started to work two jobs, one day job in IT and one night job as a doorman. My routine was up at 7.30 go to work, 12:30 lunch and sleep in car, 13:30 back to work, 17:30 home have food and in bed by 18:00, 21:00 up and back to work, 4:00 home to bed.

I only did nights tues, thurs, fri, sat, but that was enough!

I started to pull my self out of debt and then into the positive. I saved a load of money over 4 years and then bought a flat, bought my car, and quit the night job :D
Massive respect for this

Hats off to those who can afford a z4 in thr 20's(or teens),even the 2.0ltrs,lol
As for paying for my z4,i was 33 by the time i could afford my 2yr old 3.0i se/with lots of extras :D
It was just b4 the credit crunch hit hard,in 2007,so paid 20k(12k loan and 8k cash),tho book price ws 22k,(THE DLR WANTED 23K FOR THE SAME SPEC CAR AT THE TIME!!)so got a good enough deal at the time, albeit down south.
Still, had my house in my mid 20's(10 yrs ago nrly),and paid off 70% of it now,so :D not 2 bad/and have had qt a few decent new and nrly new cars in last few yrs, bravo 20vs/2 new leon cupras in 02 and 04
And as sm1 else said, who really cares if u pay cash/get loan, etc,we all clearly enjoy our z4's,and thats the main thing :driving:

I bought mine when i was 21. Paid half cash which I had saved and the other half was on finance. I'd wanted one since the day it came out and it was one of those cars that I thought 'one day, i'll own one of those'. So when the opportunity came, i did just that! Got mine in really good condition with plenty of extras for a really good price. Couldn't turn it down! Next stop, E89!
