As the title says, these are the codes found (3.0si Coupe). I had an inspection done pre-purchase and a misfire on cylinder two was flagged up then and the seller told me he had had the spark plug changed on that cylinder.

I’m no expert but the engine sounds fairly healthy to me. I guess it’s possible that the code is still from when the inspection was done. Should I just clear the codes and give it a decent drive and see if they re-occur?

Loving this car by the way, such an occasion every time I drive it, even at low speeds.

Swap over the coil pack from the next one and check again.

If it moves to the next cylinder it's the coil pack.

How old are the plugs?

What fuel are you using?

Agree with skelters, could well be a duff spark plug coil on No2 especially since the last owner says he put a new spark plug in and its still doing it. Do as advised switch coils to a different cylinder run it then rescan and see if the misfire moved cylinder, if it did then invest in a replacement coil.

Thanks for the advice guys, I cleared the fault code, took it for a spin this afternoon and rescanned. Nothing showing so far but I’ll keep an eye on it and follow your advice if anything shows up again.
