Hi

Has anybody with the DICE interface encountered any issues with interferanc?
I can hear a static noice when when nothing is plugged in but the headunit selection is on the DICE.
Its crystal clear when on CD or Radio...

I didnt fit it - it was in the car when i got it and the noise has always been there - just thought id post now :)

Cheers
Jamie

Bought a DICE... had a few problems, interference being one, dealer support was shocking so I stuck it in a drawer, to save going insane, and bought a Dension. Just to clarify my credentials in DICE support.

However, this may be a possibility as you didn't fit it... Adey had a similar issue with his Dension and IIRC it was simply the block connector at the back of the headunit not being seated properly... it can be a pain but it may be worth taking it out and checking everything is in there nice and snug?

You still getting a lot of attention in the Phoenix?!

The car is, not him :D

When I think of static, I think of ground loops and bad earth connections ... No easy solution but to check everything connection wise.

Once complete, chuck it out and buy an Intravee :D

I seem to remember there being a statement in the instructions about static when I installed my unit a while back. I think it said to un-plug the unit and let it sit for about half an hour and then plug it back in. Bavsoundwerks is the ones I dealt with here in the states and are good about answering emails promptly.
