Dice and DSP

Got a used Z4 last month and it has a Dice I-BMW-T/5V ipod interface installed in lieu of the cd changer. Connected my phone up to it and it works "ok" but sometimes it freezes and most of the time it wont display the track names, wont resume when I get back in the car (I need to cycle through the CD/Radio/changer modes until it starts charging and playing) etc. I have read that since I have DSP, I should have an adaptor and it says on the box that I might also need the SAT cable if I have the SAT module. (I assume this is sat nav - which I have). I have found the Dice module in the boot but I am not sure what else I should be looking for by way of the SAT cable or the DSP adaptor. Anyone else got this set up and able to tell me (or show me) what I should be looking for?

I would like it to display track details on the sat nav screen but all I can get (sometimes) is the track info scrolling across the top - not in the main screen.

Going out to have another play with it tonight but it is a bit clunky.

Sorry I cant offer any advice, but I'm interested in a device such as the Dice to give me audio integration. But I have an Android Phone, and would really like AD2P over Bluetooth. Are you using your phone via a cable or bluetooth ?

Also, I think the SAT module refers to the Satellite radio tuner (Sirius) , not the Sat Nav.

From what I can see, the DICE is an old solution and was bought over by Audiovox. I think people are going for the Intravee kit now but since my car is only a weekender I would like to stick with what Ive got if I can get it to do what I want rather than splashing out on the Intravee that I am not 100% sure with work with my car/iPhone 5s.

Have contacted Audiovox support and although they have replied to a few of my questions but I think I will just have to live with the Dice limitations.

The Parrot mki9200 seems to be a popular choice for streaming music but I wanted a cable connection so that I can have the phone charging when I am in the car.
