Has anyone had wheels refurbed by Diamond Cutz.
They've offered me a single colour refurb for £260 for four wheels.
Seems a bit cheap to me. I was expecting £80 - £90 per wheel.

Don't know anything about Diamond Cutz but that does seem to be on the low side. Maybe they
need the business. I have recently been quoted £90 per wheel for a set of Daisies which was a bit more than
I was expecting but I suspect that energy costs might have something to do with that
On a side note I'm always struck by what good value for money refurbishing wheels is. You've got the cost of
removing the tyre, replacing it and re-balancing before you even do anything to the wheel. Then all the dents and
scratches have to be removed before you can even start the re-plating.
I'd love to know more about the process.

Used Sam at Tillings countless times : £200ish for a set with tyres off / tyres on , quality of the guys finish is exceptional .
 
Thanks guys. Preston a bit far for me really, as I'll be going wheels on, so would need to leave car.
Had quotes of £260, £360 and £430.
Think I'll take the middle quote, Prestige Wheels, as it's about what I was expecting. Also they were mentioned by my local friendly garage.
 
If you’re close to Bury - AWR are excellent.
I’m VERY choosy about who does what on my cars. Will definitely use them again if needed.
