Diamond Car Mats

I'm not keen, and I can't see leather staying smart when you have your feet on it all the time! :(

Vulgarity at its finest. Totally impractical and looks like they fit with presstuds. A yuk for me.

they will look lovely once you get some muddy shoes on them.......not.

Thenatu55 has these in his Z4, from the photo's i've seen.

I like them. Gives the interior some luxury.

It isnt the leather you and me think it is. if you read the site it is "Eco Leather" lol

and sorry it's a no from me

can't help thinking how slippery leather soles are on shoes and how hard it would be to get all the dirt out of the stitching.

A bit gentleman’s club for me

I prefer oem mats and if it’s winter / likely to get muddy I stick a couple of little rubber mats on top.

Would look good in a show car something classic or a modern day Bentley or Aston but for driving would no be practical

Go on then I'll confess... I gave these a go. I actually thought they looked pretty good.

The truth:

- They're not 'leather' as we know it, they feel sort of cheap plasticy.
- They don't fit very well. They're made for left hand drive, so when you ask for RHD they sort of mirror the existing template.
- They came with yellow stitching so I coloured the whole lot in with a black sharpie.
- They do collect dirt, but they wipe clean really easily.

They took a bit of effort to get them to fit, but once in they looked ok to the naked eye. People thought I'd replaced the whole carpet. However, they weren't good enough for me to keep. I'm now experimenting with blue, which I'm not too fond of either... They didn't come in the shade of blue I wanted... and I'm not too sure about the Roadster logo.

Ah well, let the experimentation commence!

Are these the Autostyle mats you bought if so they used to send out small samples so you can see if you like the colour as they do a darker blue.

Yes they are from Autostyle, I should have put in an enquiry about samples before I ordered but too late now. I did speak to somebody via email but they didn't suggest any variant in shades, I just went with a simple 'Blue'. I'd have been happier with a darker shade I think.
