Diagnostic Tool Scanner doubt

I was looking at an Autel 702, quite a bit more but I think it scans and can reset all the codes even the BMW specific codes....I think the 509 will just do the generic ones.

but I'm not sure and will be interested on what others think

(alternatively a £6 OBD-bluetooth dongle and a free app on your smart phone will give you basic functionality)

thanks for your opinion!

I do not want to spend much on equipment. For me +- £30 is good.

wanted something reasonable and that up to use this with other cars.

my phone is not smart.

no worries, just be aware that I don't think the cheaper ones will give you complete coverage e.g. Airbags (hopefully I'm wrong about this and can save some money :-))
