Hello All,

Anybody here used Deutsch Tech in MK for Z4M servicing? Just got a suspiciously low quote for Inspection 2 service....

Hi, my son(billabongmac) ,who is also a forum member has had his 2.5si serviced twice now with this company after they were recommended by one of his work colleagues. On both occasions they made some very basic errors, eg. Not filling the oil and coolants to the correct levels during servicing plus other mistakes.
To their credit when he went back to complain they did everything they could to rectify the complaints but caused him a lot of inconvenience which was unnecessary and now he will not go back.
Hope this is of help.

Not sure how far away you are from Amersham area, but CPC PE are my pick of the area for servicing there. Just ring early in the morning (they operate a 7am-4pm or similar timetable to overlap with commuters i think)

Autowerx in MK seem to have a good reputation (Not used them personally), all ex BMW time served techs - Worth a ring.

I've used these guys for my previous 3.0 Z, JCW mini and E46 M3 and always been happy with them.

Afraid not on the pricing - i doubt they're the cheapest but they do know their stuff. I used them for some hefty repairs and their pricing was fair compared to others (except i had faith the knew what they were doing)

No not yet I have a few more miles before service is due. Have spoken to them though and they were very friendly and told me they would need car the day before to do the valve clearances.

Hi Chaps

I live in MK and have used both DT and autowrx. Similar pricing but DT have more creds with M car servicing. I also had my Porsches serviced at DT. They did go through a period where the main guys were not involved so much but I highly recommend now. Ask for Ben or Lenny.

As for Autowrx I had a turbo fitted to my 520d there when DT were really busy. They were actually a bit more expensive and seemed to do more general servicing whereas DT do race prep etc and have an e46 M3 race car they run.

DT just wins for me but both been better than going to a dealer.

Also an insp2 at DT is £649 last I checked about a month ago and mine will be getting booked in next year!
