I bought a small amiunt of gear to clean the car as below..

Now I got all this stuff about a month ago, and the car still looks fresh, and rain beads up nicely but I feel like I want to polish it up again using the utoglym resin polish as in the picture, and then wax again.
The paint still feels smooth, and from what I've read I don't need to clay again.

So my question is,do I just go ahead and re polish and re wax, or do I need to use some kind of cleanser first?
 
At work today so I couldn't see the pic (some get blocked at work!) However, in my experience it would be overkill to clay within a month. I have used the super resin polish and I read it has got abrasive properties - i.e. may do a little cleaning. If it were me - just polish and wax.....
 
The picture is just the cleaning products I have. What I mean is do I need. To get the old wax off first before I use the polish resin again?
 
No need to clay again, especially if the paint still feels smooth. A good trick is to put your hand in a thin plastic bag and run it over the paint which gives you a much better feel of how smooth the paint actually is.

Assuming you were thorough with the polish and wax last time its not even really necessary to do this again as you should still have a good layer of protection present. You aren't going to gain much by going through the whole process again after such a short space of time.

If it was me I would just wash and use a quick detailer to 'freshen' up the protection.

I use a sealant topped with a wax so every 3 months I just top-up the wax and every 6 months I will clay, seal and wax (usually before summer and before winter). Your washing technique is vital to maintaining the protection and reducing further damage (swirls) to the paint.
 
Thanks guys, I think what I mean is, do I need to strip the wax off to then re polish? Is there a product to get it off, or can I just go ahead and re polish and re wax?
 
Just re-polish and wax, no need to strip the existing off. If in the future you want to strip off all fillers/wax just clay or use fairy liquid (or APC) as your wash shampoo.
 
Good job with the gear.

Clay car should happen every 6 months to a year.
Light pressure.
Let the clay do the work.

Use fairy liquid diluted as a lubricant and be liberal.
You'd be amazed how much marring is caused by claying too hard.

You only need to polish if there are marks that NEED polishing.
Don't polish for the sake of it.

Also mega ultra compound is much better than autoglym resin which contains fillers.

After your polish you should seal the paint with something like poorboys exp.

Then wax.

Wax again when beeding becomes less obvious.

Also wash the car again after clay and two buckets and snow foam if you have.

I'm in the USA & we don't see Autoglym stuff too much here. However, I believe SRP is a paint cleaner/light polish. Any "polish" will remove sealant/wax if utilized correctly. So, removing the "wax" prior to polishing is redundant.

As for claying again, you won't know until you do the "baggy test", as described above. Most likely the car is fine, but it depends on the environment it's been exposed to.

Dawn or "fairy liquid" as you call it will likely not remove durable polymer sealants or synthetic "waxes". What it can do is leave a film behind that kills beading temporarily. If Dawn removes your sealant, you need a new sealant.
