detailing equipment

Hi guys,

I was looking around for some car polishers after reading some of the posts about detailing. I have a large random orbital polisher that is ok but doesn’t go very fast and can only have polishing cloths attached to it in a bit of a Heath Robinson way.
So I was looking on links from the forum and then on eBay and stumbled across this item. What do you guys reckon?

I don’t have much experience with this stuff so your help would be great.

Not sure when reading this if it's a random or orbital polisher but as it can be used for sanding would suspect it's orbital. I thought 'random' was best to prevent induced swirl.....

i doubt it would be a random orbital, i didnt think they did random orbitals like this?

Have a read of 'Detailing World' website. You will get a good idea of the differences between machine polishers etc.
