Makes sense given you drive by my house.
Perhaps scoops up Liam too and meet at McDonalds A5/a5127
 
As an alternative I could meet you guys at Tibshelf services between M1 J28&29. There's a decent Costa there and a Shell petrol station too.
 
I'm m42 j6, so I guess it makes sense to swing by Sutton first and then up the m6, then m1?
 
Guys - I'll be going straight up the A38 then A6. Just an hour and the A6 is scenic. M42/M1 is a big detour.

Liam m42 then M6T gets you to A5 I/2 mile from me. Then route as above.

Unfortunately I can't make it - got to go and look at wedding venues with my daughter. :thumbsdown:

we did a quick whip round a few of the suggested roads last Saturday

I am a fan of open single track, you may want to use my suggestion as places to avoid.

Solihull so a good 20 minutes from Sutton
 
OK guys to make it for 9.30 for 10.00 at Chatsworth start that seems to be proposed. We'd need to be leaving the McDonanlds carpark at 8.15 prompt.
Entrance 100m North of A5 and 24 hours so you can get fed and watered
McDonald's
Birmingham Road
Lichfield
WS14 0QP

Can we assume the Sutton, Solihull and others can meet to make it for that start time? Fuelled and ready to go...

Rich - if you and CJ are heading up the A6 (presumably from Derby) then we will probably meet you at Chatsworth because you'll miss the obvious meeting point with us (either M1 J29 or services between J28&29).

Darren - shall we meet at say 8.45? Give me a ring and we'll arrange a meet point.

Newbie here , I will be attending the meet on sunday for the first time
but I have to be in Wigan by 5.00pm ish, can anyone tell me what time the meet normally finishes?
 
If i can get out of my on call i look forward to this meet, my first meet this year :thumbsup:
