Hi everyone - Here for sale is my very well maintained and very low mileage BMW Z4 3.0i, manual, in rare Toledo Blue metallic. (it's not the flat looking dark Monaco blue or the light Maldives blue, this is in the middle and in my opinion is the best colour.
I have owned the car for nearly 2 years and decided to sell as only covered about 3500 miles since I bought it. (It's my second car, my daily is a Mercedes E-Class). Car has covered just over 42K miles.
After looking at 3 very tired and tatty examples I bought this car from a guy who owned and ran a golf course in Blackheath, Tunbridge Wells, Kent and it was clear he had looked after the car and had kept it garaged for the 6 years he had owned it and I have garaged it since. Car HPI’d when I bought it and it was all clear (report is in the service pack).
When I took ownership (Aug 2016) it was due a big service and I got everything done for my own piece of mind. This included:
• Oil/Oil Filter (Mobil 1 ESP / Mann Filter)
• Spark plugs (Bosch)
• Air filter (Mann)
• Cabin filter (Crossland Charcoal)
• Coolant (Comma Xtreme G48)
• Brake fluid
• Differential oil (Castrol)
• Transmission/Gearbox oil (Redline)
• New brake discs, pads, brake wear indicators front and rear (Pagid)
• Air con regas (It’s icy cold)
• 4 Brand new Dunlop Sportmaxx tyres (non-runflat tyres_
Car is only run on Shell V-Power.
Car has the 17 inch classic 103 'daisy leaf' alloys which were professionally refurbished, shot blasted and powder coated (Still in perfect unmarked condition). In my opinion the 17 inch wheels look better proportioned on the car than 18" and fitting 4 brand new Dunlop Sport Maxx (non-run flat) tyres means the ride is a lot better and less spine jarring but still holds the road brilliantly.
The bodywork is in excellent, no dings, scratches, rust or sun fade. There are stone chips but I keep these touched up.
The interior is in excellent, very clean condition. Unmarked, piano black trim and beige leather which has been cleaned and protected. The drivers bolster has no wear. Features include:
• Seats are fully electric and have memory function.
• CD multi-changer
• Dension Ipod link which charges the ipod and you can use the stereo controls to skip tracks
• Electric Power fold mirrors
• ABS, Traction control, Tyre pressure warning system
• Sport Mode (increased throttle response and weightier steering
• Automatic Lights
• Automatic Wipers
• Headlamp washers
• Remote roof lowering (Press and hold the unlock button and the roof lowers)
• OEM wind deflector
*Pictures show a Stormworks gearknob but the car will come with the original gear knob
Power roof works as it should, no rips or tears and has been cleaned and protected with Renovo/autoglum products. The drain holes (a Z4 design flaw) are regularly checked to protect the motor.
The engine is very smooth and the VANOS has no rattles. There are no oil leaks from the rocker cover gasket or the oil filter housing gasket which is common on the M54 engine.
I have had 3 faults during my ownership. The first one which appeared in the first week, threw up 3 warning lights. My trusty mechanic (OC Motorsport) traced this to a high pressure brake sensor. The part was £92 from BMW ( you can get cheap Chinese knock offs for about £25 which should be avoided). The second fault which is very common on Z4’s was a snapped rear spring, both rear springs were replaced with same specification but better quality Suplex versions. The third fault was passenger side window regulator which again was a common weakness of BMW’s of this era. The refurbish kit didn’t work so a brand new regulator was fitted.
Fully documented service history with receipts, the old MOT’s, spare key, handbook and manuals.

I am quite fussy with my cars and all in all I have spent about £2000 on maintenance and minor repairs to get it up to a standard I am happy with. Car is having an MOT and oil service this week (w/c 13th Aug) and as all the big expensive items have been covered you shouldn't have anymore costs for awhile.
I am a mature, non-smoking owner and really look after my cars and I think this is probably one of the best low mileage, original condition Z4’s out there that hasn't been messed about with.
The 3.0 manaul is the only E85 Z4 to get. Well kept, low mileage examples are rare and I think the price has bottomed out, They are not increasing in value yet but if you look after it and keep the mileage low you should get most of your money back when it comes time to sell.
Please look at the leggy, tired examples available and then come and see mine, you won't be disappointed.
Any inspection welcome.
I have tried to be as thorough as possible with the description. If you have any further questions please call me.
If you are interested the car is available for no pressure, no obligation viewing in the evenings and weekends in Billericay, Essex.
Car has just had MOT and sailed through. MOT until 22nd August 2019.
Price - £6450
