Okay, thanks to you guys, I've managed to get the photos up properly.

Peeing down with rain here today so will have to wait until the weather picks up before I get some better ones. And thanks for the advice on pricing and where to advertise - that really helps.
 
Ming. I don't think you will have much trouble shifting your car; it has an awful lot going for it. Great colour combo, I-drive, reasonable mileage, good asking price and it looks SHINEY (in my experience the best draw of all). Maybe mention you are an owner's club member or enthusiast, this again gives people the impression your car has been looked after and "cherished" by you. Should help counteract any misgivings regarding the "upgrades". :thumbsup:

I agree, even at £14k reserve its still a cheap car based on the colour / spec / mileage and yes I would also mentioned owners club (enthusiast owned).

Just state that if the car was a 28i (same power with the remap) then it would be £2k more so make's it sound like a bargain IMHO

Many thanks for all the help and advice, not just for the sale, but over the time I've had the car.
Happy to say it's gone to someone who hopefully will become a forum regular. I'll still pop in from time to time.
 
The new owner has been a forum member for a while..I think he prefers to read rather than comment..generally.. :thumbsup: :rofl:

Collected this beauty from Ming on Thursday.
She was even better in the flesh I have to say. Remarkable condition. Could have eaten lunch inside the engine compartment.

Forum member buying from forum member means there's a mutual interest and 'no surprises' when viewing as we flew down to Exeter from Edinburgh to collect the car.

Congratulations, best colour with the best interior :thumbsup:

I did the same journey for my first one from a forum member and agree in the mutual interest being a huge bonus.

Hopefully see it in the flesh on a run soon, enjoy :driving:
 
Great looking car - best colour IMHO.

Always good when a member buys from another one as there is a trust in each other especially when travelling that distance :thumbsup:

Silver looks a tad overshadowed in the company of the other two, I think the orange and black roof combination is gorgeous
