Hi everyone, after a few months of pondering, I took the plunge today and put a deposit down on a Midnight Blue, 3.0si Sport Roadster Auto. I've had several BMWs over the years including Z3 2.2i Sport and an E90 320d M Sport. After a few years away, I just don't think you can beat the quality and driving style of a BMW.
Anyway, it's got the usual Sport spec only downside is the lack of sat nav which is the only thing i'd want for. It's a 2006 06 with Black Oregon leather sport seats. 51k on the clock. I bought from a main dealer so it's an approved used BMW with 12 months warranty full BMW history so was happy to pay a little more for that peace of mind. Have to say, I'm really impressed with the smoothness of the engine. Fantastic pace and I love the flappy paddles. We went on a run o a dual carriageway and it was showing 30mpg even after putting it through it's paces n the sport mode. -Happy with that if that's the kind of mpg you get.
Anyway, really looking forward to getting stuck into conversations on here going forward and hopefully some meets in the near future.
