Some sick fukk has reversed into my new back bumper. Around the parking sensors and the plastic part below the bumper (2011 E89 Msport)....
Any thoughts on using a dentaway/chipaway mobile repairer or bite the bullet and get it done at BMW garage??

 Sorry to hear that.

Not sure I've heard of people like Chipsaway being able to get dents out of plastic bumpers....? :? Might be worth a try though.

Take the bumper off and heat the back of it using a hair dryer, most dents will just pop out of moulded plastic with the application of a decent amount of heat.

All BMW dealers use a sub contracted dent repair guy, cut out the middle man and save yourself the premium.

Dent Devils did an amazing job on mine, and they do all the car dealerships in lincoln. Everyone advertises as dent removal but these guys actually come in and do the work.

That ain't cool, sorry to hear this. Selfish people in the world, damaging others cars and not leaving details....

thanks for your advice. BMW have said they will take the bumper off and repaint and bake it. They said Dentaway guys will just fill it in and u will soon notice the difference. Gonna get a quote from BMW and take it from there.

Had same on mine. BMW quoted me £360 to take it off and paint etc....local garage quoted me £200. So I used the cheaper option. They didma local repair and dent looks great etc..BUT...the colour is mismatched (does happen I know in terms of paint on plastic and metal) but this is glaringly obvious. Had huge argument and didn't pay for the work....but now need to get it done again.

In hindsight, I would use BMW, and HR Owen in London do all their own work and no sub contract work out.....apart from dent repair on doors etc....

Chances are that if taken to a main dealership, they would use an outside source that contracts in so best just going direct and saving a few ££s.
