Dennis Skinner calls out Dodgy Dave!!

I can't wait for labour to get in again *coughs*

I've got my eye on a job with the council, it's redundant at the moment but Labour would be sure to bring it back.

It's my next door-but-one neighbours old job. He sat in his bedroom/office, compiling a list of grass measurements he had taken after the grass had been cut at various public areas. It was his actual job to check the grass was not being cut to short/long.

It's a position he held since the beginning of Labours last reign.

It sounds like bullshit but it really isn't, it's an actual job that he was paid very handsomely for and probably getting a pension for now.

Even he couldn't believe his luck.

Next Labour government employment scheme spotted in Africa.

I'm always surprised at the vitriol the left gets. Without these people everyone on this forum would be living in servitude, which incidently is where people like Cameron would like you to be. The distraction methods employed by the right have been honed over the past 100 years and are quite effective it would appear.

Giving the vote to morons was this countries biggest ever mistake.

We were great when the un-washed did what they were told - it's not the immigrants that have fucked us !

People who contribute f**k all to society (except draining it's resources) should have no say in how it's run.

It's pretty simple

Ok so "because soldier" he is exempt? Fair enough, what about some random punter who has been involved in a serious crash and cant work thus relies on benefits making them a "drain" should they get to vote?

What about folk who are born into wealth and dont "need" to work? I assume they dont get a vote either?

Depends if the serious crash was as a result of the person being a dick or not !

If I was in charge people causing serious accidents would be left on the side of the road to die - would serve as a great deterrent for others .

Anyone turning up at A&E because they can't handle their drink would be given a good kicking (before they can do it to the nursing staff) and locked up for a week !

but no lets wank away money looking after these cunts and whine at the Tories when they money has all gone and we can't afford to look after actual Ill people.

Forget the NHS, what about the poor grass-length measurers, the demise of this once fine industry brings a tear to the eye.

Some good ideas there for the bad drivers hahaha

The money hasnt all gone though, all this austerity is due to political choice not necessity. All these cuts savaging the disabled and unemployed will save less than 5bn a year at the same time the HMRC put the annual loss through tax avoidance at 35bn a year (and other estimates go as high as 120bn) yet the tories (or labour for that matter) arent crusading against tax avoiders.

There is also the tax system itself, for example the UK isnt considering a Financial Transaction Tax, basically it is a tax paid by banks and other financial companies for the financial transactions that they conduct, even at a rate of 0.05% this would raise 2 or 3 times the value of the cuts to welfare. The decimation of the NHS in England along with the privatisation of your education system, the charges for prescriptions, university tuition fees etc these are all things that are imposed on you through political choice yet packaged as "essential" while the rich get richer at a rate never before seen.

Welfare needs to be cut, it's got nothing to do with being Tory or right wing. If you think it's ok for any one from a European country to come to the uk, work part time and claim housing benefit and working tax credits then you can't complain we don't have enough money for the NHS.

Great point! Another one that always makes me wonder, is how do we know how many children a foreign worker has back home in Poland or wherever? When you consider that we don't even know if the person is a convicted murderer, rapist or similar, my guess is that checking how many children they have is near impossible. I would imagine fraud is rife.

From personal experience I know a woman who works part time earning about 5k a year. She gets a whole house paid for, 1000 pounds a month and another 150 a week in working tax credits. As the average income tax bill is about 4K a year it is taking 4 peoples entire income tax to pay for her to live here. And she works cash in hand on the side. Employers are happy to have three part time workers over 1 full time worker because they have less liability. This is what's messing up our society and giving us housing problems.

One of those scrounger c**t TV shows had some council paying housing benefit on a flat in Paris and sending the cheque to the person living in the flat.

For any council workers / Labour supporters that's a big city in France.

And France is a Country that is not part of the UK.

You couldn't make it up - but it's those nasty Tories that are to blame.

I can't watch those programmes, your'e almost better off not witnessing it. I know it goes on but actually seeing it, is worse. It doesn't surprise me either.

''it's those nasty Tories that are to blame'', is a culture in this country now. Everything that happens has to have blame attached.

I recently watched the news on the floods and people are baying for literally anyone's blood, anyone they can blame. My parents were flooded about ten years ago, they just accepted that it rained a lot, the drains were over-whelmed and that was it. They weren't calling for their local MP to be hung, drawn and quartered.

These people up to their eye balls in debt is another example. The lenders are the villains and the borrowers are poor innocent parties. The reports never show what these people splurged the loan money on, or how many holidays they had with it, or the cars they bought. They just portray the lender as the bad guy, taking advantage of the poor innocent person. The borrower then gets the debt wiped out.
