Yes, we've got a similar issue, small kitchen, but the gf is doing early mornings now and our vacuum coffee maker takes forever.

We're also moving soon to a bigger kitchen soon.

I may be near St Albans next weekend too.

How old is it?

About 2 years old (22.5 months). It's been descaled once last September. Prob due another one with the hard water we get round this way. Work great tho (I'm lazy tho and if I'm boiling the kettle to make tea for my wife I just have a instant coffee).
