Delivery Time

I just ordered my new 2011 Z4 sDrive35i with manual transmission two weeks ago and am new to the forum. I was curious if any of the forum members had any ideas on how long it actually takes for delivery. The local dealer estimated 6 to 8 weeks.
 
It will take for-e-ver. You'll start worrying you might have chosen the wrong color, or missed an option. Even though in the past you'd never see another Z4, ever, now they're all over the place. You'll frequently visit car forums, where they'll not do anything to soothe your anxiety. You wonder what a 'stubby' is, but daren't ask, as everyone seems to have one - and be proud of it. :lol:

People in US can access to a website that customers can track the progress of the order. Did you try it?
 
I Wasn’t aware that I could monitor the delivery progress by the web. According to the BMW web site all I need is the production number from my dealer which I will get next week. Thanks for the info. :D
