Hi all - New member here.
Ordered in August, delivery date week 13. M40i Frozen Grey, Cognac.
Wireless and Touch Screen deleted, £500 compensation.

Hello & welcome, great choice and that’s a lovely colour combination, I love the interior of mine and it’s a great place to be, though I did chicken out on the frozen grey, to many horror stories,

Been discussed on here a bit but I think you’re the first person to confirm touchscreen deletion.

I am going for the PPF protection, not full wrap though

Thanks...I kind of put it to the back of my mind until January when they said they would have a date, at least I have it now. Not holding my breath though, date will no doubt go back :(

Welcome aboard! Another member here with an M40i on order, build just starting this week. I haven't given up hope that it will have a touchscreen just yet as BMW can't seem to confirm to me either way!!

Glad you’re brave enough to go for the matte finish which looks particularly good on the G29 IMO. Unfortunately the scare stories seem to be peddled by those who never owned a metallic matte finish car. Using the right products, mine continues to be the easiest car to look after that I’ve ever owned. It’s 3 years old in June and covered 16000 miles and still looks great 😊. Enjoy a brilliant car in a fabulous colour. :thumbsup:
