Wheel gurus, please assist..
I bought my 2013 Z4 in February, having heard dire warnings about cracked/bent rims on 326 wheels...I knew to take it easy over bumps/holes etc..
On arrival home from the BMW main dealer (300 miles later), having avoided I thought all potholes, I discovered a bent rim on the RH rear.
I put this down to moi..I took the wheel to a local alloy wheel straightener, who pronounced it un-repairable by him, and opinion-ed that it was like that probably when I collected the car as it appeared to have been touched up to hide the damage.
So my questions are:
Can it be repaired, if so by whom, what cost?
Do I have a claim against BMW one year used car warranty for selling a car with a duff wheel?
Assuming it was corrected what's the market value of 4 staggered 326M wheels with Bridgestones run flats that have done around 2k miles? (I've already moved to 17" wheels due to the roads around here anyway)
Frustratingly apart from this the wheels are almost immaculate..
