Right guys n gals,
Having had my new CSL reps on for a month or so, I'm still yet to find a pressure I'm happy with & doesn't feel too hard, too soft or tramlines.
Had full geo along with front brake reaction bushes changed....so in theory the tramlining / way wards steering should be down to pressures, correct? Or do I need other bits changing?? Car just seems to twitch & require lots of steering input - my wife's Z4 can be steered at speed with one hand with confidence..
Tried 34F 36R, feels light on the steering and hard ride but limited tramlining
30F 32R, like marshmallow tyres & lots of tramlining
Seems like my next obvious pressure is going to be 32F 34R, but frankly bored of excessive tweaks to tyre pressure, a psi here & there shouldn't mark that much difference on a modern car on a motorway, surely!
What are you running?
What else should I get changed mechanically to have a perfect front end?
Cheers
Matt
