Deep Green (Tiefgruen) Coupe

Apparently BMW only made 95 of the Deep Green (Tiefgruen) coupes worldwide with 22 of those coming to the UK and the colour wasn't available on the Z4MC - anyone on here got one in this colour?

It’s a very nice colour that one doesn’t look like it’s on SE springs though.

There’s one in Chelmsford that has been for sale in various places for well over a year. 63k and £14k might be why.

I absolutely love dark green metallic cars, ever since my first car (a 1989 "Racing Green" Mini!) but I find the combination with the orange interior a challenge on these models. Its a personal opinion though, someone else will love it.

Indeed I do own a Tiefgruen Metallic one! Absolutely love the colour, very dynamic in different lights. From almost black to a rich green, and about 30 shades in between.

Mine has the cream leather interior which I don’t much like on a car like the Z4. That’ll change though. Link to my Z4’s thread is in my sig for more pictures :wink:

Thanks! Agreed on the cream as a colour. Matches well to the green. However, it’s a bit too much; all the plastics, all the carpet, the centre console, doorcards, headliner… If they’d set it off against more black panels like in the extended champagne interiors, it’d be perfect to my eyes

I hadn't realised they were as rare as that!

While I think it's a great colour the only ones I have seen advetrtised all seemed to be SE models with the standard seats, and some oddball interior choices. :lol:

Anyway that made me look at the numbers myself and it seems they made 203 3.0Si Roadsters in that colour, but only 5 of those came to the UK.

Nice that! Would've had a tough choice if it was about back in August when I bought mine. High on the miles for me but the green looks so good when the light catches it!

It’s probably this spec. I originally wanted to look at a Tiefgrün Z4 with this interior, but it was picked up by someone else the day before I got back from my vacation.

As an aside, the green really is rare; 2(!) came to the Netherlands in my spec: one manual, one auto. Just 95 total- I thought my previous MiTo 101 (100/101 made) was rare :lol:



When the light hits it, bwoaaah… It just shines 8)

That orange/tan interior is stunning. Look like m sport seats as well so not the usual SE Spec

Not a fan of green sports cars normally, but really like this…. The 17’’ style 200’s work nicely too, do you have spacers on?

Loving the detailing work you’ve put into the car too

Thanks [ref]True-Blue[/ref], it was quite a job! The 200's work for me as well, especially as a winter-set. Not currently running spacers, though I could do with about 15mm at the back. It's on coilovers, that does help fill out the arches nicely. Onto bronze CSL's in spring 8)
