Decisions Decisions . Red or red

Imola is definitely a nicer red than hell red
Hellrot doesn't mean Hell Red - it translates as 'Bright Red' or 'Light Red' depending on context

Oh right, that makes sense, as it is rather bright compared to Imola! Not my cup of tea personally

Horses for courses - I love the way it changes depending on the light....

Have you... bought another Z?

Imola is a much nicer red though, isn't it.

Yep i bought another basically because it took 18 months to find another for sale.

Dont really use it so at the end of the summer ill sell it, should anyone be interested in a Hellrot Z4 Coupe (only 20 made)

I prefer Imola too. Gorgeous colour, especially on an M coupe

The black roof looks awesome on certain coloured coupes (white in particular), and to my eye suits Hellrot better than Imola. Perhaps because there's more of a contrast as Hellrot is lighter?

Conversely, I think Hellrot clashes a bit with the red of the rear lights. Whereas Imola blends with it nicely.

Might just be the screen but the one on the left looks Red. The one on the right more brownish.

Ok for two door small van type vehicles though. Going by that pic they're pretty common round those parts!

nice pair
Hard to chose between the two colours, I've always liked the ///M imola red - imo reds look better in the flesh; the imola looks deeper and not as flat and the Hellrot looks redder and not as orange. Nice to see these rare Zeds side by side
I do like the gloss black roof on the Hellrot

OP, why am I not surprised!

I hope if you do sell the HellRot one you'll put it on here - I haven't had a red one yet!

And I still miss my Imola E46 325ti Compact. :(

Will be sold in the next 4 weeks or so, if interested its 77k looking for 9.5k its 1 of 20 currently registered non auto.

Saw your M coupe up close and personal at our premises this morning, thought it looked good in the picture but .... absolutely stunning to see it in person,

I agree with the earlier comments that they both look better and different in the flesh. I think for me the winner is hell rot and would have liked to have seen the M available in that too. Imola looks great on a well cared for clean and polished car, but on a dirty one, it looses all of that. Where as hell rot still looks great even when a bit dirty, a bit like silver in that respect.
