Hi all..!!

Is there such a thing available as mats with the //M logo..? :?

I've got plain black mats in my Coupe and I'd really like to get some good quality //M mats in the Z4 pattern.

Is there such a thing available..?

Thanks in advance,
Nige.

There are //M mats and Z4 mats available from BMW

Excellent news. Thanks ovrkll! :D

I'll get onto my dealer tomorrow and get some ordered.

Don't suppose anyone would happen to know the part numbers for the //M mats perchance..? :)

Although you may find that UK dealers don't stock & can't get hold of some of the accessories that the US dealers can - e.g. lots of the ZM specific stuff.

I've been trying to get the tailored rubber mat (cargo liner) for the boot, the ///M boot carpet, the solid steel pedal covers, etc. but the UK dealers can't even see the numbers I supply on their systems and say they're not available in Europe.

The only option for some parts is to order from the US and pay the shipping, VAT & duty when they arrive - which turns out very expensive for a carpet.

Yeah, I've not been able to get the 'M' mats so far but hope you succeed. Why would an 'M' owner in the UK possibly want a mat with an 'M' logo??? BMW's logic is faultless

How about a group buy guys?

I too asked a couple of dealers and surprise surprise nothing listed!!! MUPPETS

A group but would work if we could find a UK supplier, but I think one from the US would be rather costly. Just take a look at how the Mangowalk aerial figures are stacking up. The mats would be very heavy, so shipping from the US to the UK would be very costly, then we'd be looking at duty and VAT on top of the purchase cost and shipping, then I'm sure the carrier would hit us with an "entry fee", then combine that with postage out from one source in the UK to around ten group buy participants and you can see the costs would soon add up...!! Throw into the mix that the £/$ rate is still not good and I'm not sure a GB on this larger, bulkier item would be worthwhile unfortunately. I'd be happy to be proved wrong, but sadly I really think that costs would soon escalate. :(

I've also just spoken to my parts dept at the local dealer who are hugely helpful and whilst he agrees that nothing comes up on the system, he has a bit of a plan :? . I've left it with him to see if he can come up with anything on the //M floor mats and the //M fitting rubber boot liner. I'm not holding my breath, but he seems to be one of the most helpful parts guys I've met across several marques.

Voodoo, what part of Kent are you from?

What dealer did you speak to as I'm going to also speak to another BMW Monday as I had forgotten about these!

David,

I spoke to a great guy called Dave at Broad Oak Ashford, as I'm based in Dover.
He's doing all sorts of digging for me and I'm popping up to see him on Monday or Tuesday.

No condoning theft from the state or anything but wouldn't it be nice if one of our friends from across the pond were to send a load over as a gift
As everybody knows import tax/duty in not applicable to gifts, all we would need to do is get somebody state side to order a load from their friendly yank dealership and us brits could wire the money to them in return for a gift wrapped parcel, every bodys happy.

Little update, it's a definite no-go here for //M logo mats for the Z4, and it appears that the rubber boot liner will only fit with considerable assistance from a rather sharp friend called "Stanley".... :(

Don't feel too bad. The ///M mats look good, but are awful to use. Always folding over and getting stuck under the pedals. Mine are in a corner of my garage.

There are what appear to be genuine Z4 //M embroidered mats on ebay - around 60 squid a set i think. Just one seller.

Yeah theyve gone.. but i assure you there were some!

They were 50 or 60 quid plus delivery - that put me off....

Im sure they will come back again soon.

A bit of a thread resurection here...

Has anyone found some good floor mats? preferably with an M logo... my all black interior needs a hint of colour

The plain black ones I have seem a bit lightweight and the drivers side is folding over at the pedals. It would be nice to have something a bit thicker and more likely to stay in place.

Do you have the BMW ones in there at the moment? They are really good quality, so would be hard pressed to recommend something else. With your new car though, you could pick up some brand new BMW ones and get some grey piping around the edges. I loved that in my old car, which came with champagne piped mats to match the seats.
