I showed it to my wife and she said it would be a great picture without a car in it!
 
Rick, you always manage to take the most beautiful shots. What mountains are those? is that southern Cal by any chance? :thumbsup:

Wrong direction from Seattle - most likely British Columbia.
 
Beautiful Alberta, my dear AlanL. :) This trip was actually my first ever trip into the Rockies, and the views (+/- car) were phenomenal. And you're right... I'm sure the road is now snow covered. But I had my winter tires on, so I'm confident I would have fared well going through the Parkway. I just wouldn't have as much fun since I'd be driving very slow. :)

tsuiesque, unfortunately 800X600 is all I currently have. I had done some touching up of the pic, but accidentally saved it in its small pic form. I'll have to go back and redo the touchups and save it larger. I am working on a thread with more pics from the trip, but I won't have much time to do it until probably next month.

Hey guys, new here, This is my new 07 M coupe. This picture was taken about 100 miles of Seattle, WA right above a little touristy German village called Leavenworth. Thanks.
 
Nice - I'll bet that chunk of countryside doesn't look like that right now.

Most of the Cascades near the Columbia Gorge have seen 4-6 feet of snow over the past couple of weeks with an 86" base up at the ski slopes and another 10-18" expected for tonight.
