Decat + race cats on route!

just picked up this....( Copy and paste from the post advert).


I decided to go a different route for upgrading headers, hence I'm putting this up for sale. The kit is new, never been installed. The kit was coated by Nitroplating with bright silver. DKF has corrected the EGT from 1.5 to 2.0 on this kit.

I'm really excited to a) have V band clamp sections... B) nitroplated system keeps the temps low c) race cat sections and quick swap decat sections for max performance and bumper melting fireballs lol, I'm mostly hoping to get those exhaust gasses out quicker which my FI car should REALLY pick up alittle HP and TQ... Lets see.

Be really interested to see if you gain much with this lot...one of the areas of modification that is hard to get any real gains from with the S54...purchaser post your verdict please...

different story with a blower..... ill make a gain... a decent one too.... my stock cats are bottlenecking me for sure id guess... I'm shoving alot of air in.... it needs a free exit route... ill be running Decat section permanently and swap in the cat sections for MOT time, this will also make second 02 sensors a breeze to change with the quick release V-band sections.... worth the price alone imo.


Supersprint claim a 100 cell mid section is worth a gain on a stock s54..... ill do a dyno afterward and maybe tweak the tune alittle ... i want Tq.... i have plenty of HP.

Agree with all ...really curious with exhaust stuff on OEM S54 ,,,I've seen quite a few different things that have never really produced much but differing noise,,,,I think it's pretty good stock.

managed to ship another set of these over for resale purposes,

super sprint offer a race cat section s-pipe ( the piece right after the headers) for around £1700 , where as these are £725

The items above are awesome as it 2 setups in one, complete bolt-on decats sections, or the race CATS sections, connected via the v-band clamps, added bonus as from now on secondary 02 sensors changes will now be a breeze as mentioned before, no more paying a dealership 300 quid to swap those out..

the tubes have welded on harmonic tabs to stop unwanted vibrations and give a much cleaner sound, they sets are also coated with a nitro-plate coating ( cost $200 extra at the time) which keep heat in the system and also looks cool as f**k....

if anyones interested in the second coated set identical to mine above them please drop me a PM , the s-pipes are brand new.

These are perfect wanting to really give your motor a super free flow exhaust and have the ability to still pass emissions tests, i thought id ask here before i put them up on ebay/ elsewhere.

I might be interested, pretty sure my H&S sports cats are dead. Dash lit up yesterday, and the code reader is showing lots of Cat related errors.

Not bothered by the full decat but would want to be sure the sports cats pass an MoT.

i can't give guarantees due to these being race metallic cats... but im pretty certain they'll pass the mot they may just need to be really hot to do so... however i don't want to pretend i know for certain... i really don't. ill get my set on and get to a garage for an emissions test, my car is a big polluter however so I'm not sure this will give a fair representation for your needs.

How many cells/inch on the sport cats do you know?

theirs a choice of 100 or 300 cell metallic race units but as you can see from my pics above theirs only a small amount of actual CAT so I'm guessing 100 cell on a stock s54 won't pass emmisons, it may do on my car due to the added heat and gas volume. one of the sets i have coming my set is 100 CELL, the second set is 300 CELL.

these units should be delivered tomorrow... import charges have butt raped me however, really looking forward to running cat-less :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: I'm going to do an evening drive with a go pro strapped on exhaust view to give a view of the sound and the firework show I'm expecting

Wow wow wow.. One set here !! Beautiful items. This one is nitro plated satin silver.

Note how pipe steps up in diameter before cats, also a biggy here, theirs harmonic tabs welded between the s-pipes to cut rasp and vibration induced drone.

will try and get this fitted up next week, just need new bolts / nuts / gaskets and need to get a lambda bung welded up to the front on the s-pipe section for my WIDE-band AFR unit.
