Debadge side or not?

Easy enough little job, definitely like the look of it. Will get that done tomorrow

Really need to post pics of the car up soon, looks ten times better than when I bought it. Great example.

I like the side badge, although the "i" on one of mine has come off. Any ideas where I can get them that is not the local stealers? Looked on ebay but guess I'm searching the wrong thing.

I took my 3.0Si badges off - makes the wing look a lot cleaner, not least because there's less places for wax an polish to get stuck... But IMO it just allows the lines of the car to stand out more by smoothing the wing.

As for positioning, take photos. Then if you want them back tbh you'd be as well buying new ones off eBay for a few quid as they will have the adhesive attached. It'd pi55 me right off having to strip all the old adhesive off the badges then bugger about cutting new stuff to fit. I still have mine though, as well as a bunch of other bots I have swapped off so's I can fill up the boot for any future buyer :D
Same here for removal, replacement, and keeping all the take-offs. It's also fun when someone asks what model your BMW is? Is it a new series?

i am tempted to remove my badges now (finally)

Just need a good weekend to give it a detail at the same time.

Mine come back from a a little paintwork with this badge missing yesterday, didn't notice til I got it home

Thankfully they'd removed it, re-taped it up ready for application, and just left it off by accident. It's in the post to me now

Check this link out for a decent video and pics of badge removal. It really is easy and can be done in 30 minutes. http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=46885&p=677701#p677701, or here's the vid:
