Dealer reply about CPO on M's

This sounds like BS but I'm not an expert so I'll pose the question. Are aftermarket warranties more cost effective?

"Hello Michael, I wanted to send you some additional information and arrange a convenient time for you to take a test drive. The reason why it's not certified is that it's an M model, and those vehicles don't usually get certified because there are other warranties available that are more cost effective than the certification. This vehicle underwent a rigorous reconditioning process and a multi point safety inspection which is backed up by our industry leading money back & trade in guarantee (see www.herbchambers.com). Because Herb Chambers sells more pre-owned (and new) vehicles I always have thousands to choose from. Please give me a call or stop by. I hope to see you soon! ~Lyndsey "

I wonder what BMWNA would have to say about a dealer saying they don't CPO a particular model??

Or are they not wanting to CPO THAT particular M due to a CarFax??? hmmmmmmmm????

Or maybe that one has been a royal PITA for service? hmmmmmmmm?

Or maybe they just happen to sell extended warranties and make a better profit off that than CPO? hmmmmmmmm?

I bet it's the extended warranty issue

I would bet that it can't be CPO'd for some reason or Smokin has it right...
