recently bought a e93 from wood bmw bournemouth was going to trade in the z4 but then decided to keep it,
was just browsing cars for sale as you do and came across my z4 on their site up for sale funnily enough for over £3500 more
than they offered for it! god only knows where they got the pictures from as the sales guy only gave the car a quick once over

Weird - and a bit dodgy :?

Give them a ring and politely object I think.

^this!

Or get someone to phone up interested in it. Make them squirm!

Probably a simple admin error, but just shows the mark-up they were going to charge.....

"We have sold that car, but we have a similar one here for only 2k more ..."

have spoken to them full of apologies "don't know how that happened sir" but can't get it removed until tomorrow

I think I would want to know WHY they put your car on the web!
Does the Reg No show in the picture and is it a private plate?

Using your car was very concerning, you dont want your number plate put out on the web.
I must say that I have never understood the desire to hide the number plate. It is plain for all to see on the road and if someone really wants a copy its not going to be hard to find what you want….

+1

True, but having it available online somewhere just makes it easier, i.e. I want to copy the plate from another White E89.......google images etc...can probably find one quickly, whereas driving around I might not see one.

either way though, if the thieving scum want it, they will get it one way or the other.
