Popped a new battery on it today, all dash lights lit, fired up like it's been stood 2 minutes, took it for a blast...again reminded just what a fantastic car the M is...raw, basic, FUN..!!

Battery registration isn't required for this generation of Z4.

No, just installed it, left it a few mins then fired it Ron, all dash lights out, away we went..!

Probably a £75 job from Eurocarparts as well

I would still like to know what that "crack" was tho!

Euro wanted over £140 for a 3 year warranty battery, picked one up in Halfords, not their own brand, for £115 with a 5 year warranty, should have been £128 but it was on the wrong shelf, I think the lady took pity on the oxygen tank... :lol:

I'm 99% sure the crack was the battery shorting, I think it dropped a cell and shorted as i went to start the car the last time.
