Hi there.

Just wondering like.....is there a protocol regarding the de-badging of the boot if you fit a quad exhaust? :? It's starting to keep me awake at night......

What have the rest of you done?

Cheers

Removed mine & no intention of seeing the badge back , much prefer the cleaner rear :) kept the side badges though

Is it fairly straightforward to do?

Thx

I removed my badges... but it looks teribble without them which is why im replacing them with carbon fibre black and white ones...

Yep , just to confirm after the above pic , we are only talking the Z & the 4 :? not the BMW boot badge .
I warmed mine up with a hairdryer then slowly prized off with a credit card , leaves a tacky backing from the badges , this i removed with some light rubbing of autoglym super resin polish  others will have their own technique i,m sure .

Alternatively, I have a spare Z & 4, if you want to, ill send em to you and could even it out that way.....

That should be fairly easy then - especially as my wife works for Altro - the owners of Autoglym! :D

Thanks for the tip.

he means the 'Z4' badge, not the bmw one

Happy to report my compliance. Zed is back from Bodyshop minus Z4 badge on the boot and with what looks like a new front end! Pics when it stops fookin snowing!

Here's an excellent how to, if I may say so myself!
