I was thinking that just today. I guess you could possibly paint / lacquer the lock dark somehow, but knowing me I'd end up permanently sealing it :roll: Glad you like :thumbsup:
 
Wonder If you can retrofit the lock from a coupe or even an E89 with the swivelling roundel to open the boot and then remove the lock, fill and paint.

Would be a good project for someone on a spare boot lid :wink:

Thanks again skillick... Unfortunately some of them ended up being involuntarily passed on :x , but I used your recommended source for replacements. He's doing a good trade off my recommends now too :D
