De-Badging or Should That Be Debagging?

I think the badges on the side of the z look wrong but still keep the one on the rear.

I agree re e85, but the rear badge on the E89 is just wrong wrong wrong.

I had my rear badge removed before delivery. Looks cleaned and balanced IMHO.

Got to agree the E89 Z4 badge looks rubbish. I'd remove it but its Rach's car not mine. I like the side ones 2.0 or 35is they look good.

Add me to the fully debadged (except roundels) list. Cleaner look, easier to wax, not poverty spec. Many people here have never seen a Z4, amuses me to see them swivel their heads to check the rear badge to find out what the hell that thing is, then the look of confusion when they find there's nothing there!

I think debadging is a personal choice and not a Banana down the trousers mod.

I reckon this could be a perfect example of a banana down the trousers Mod

With those whiskers he looks like a Morgan driver not a Zed pilot :)

Hmm - I bought my Z4 with M badging then found out there isn't an M derivitive of the 2.0l. The looks of the car - including the badging - was one reason for buying it. Can't help but think I'd prefer to have the 6 pot under the bonnet but I just console myself with the way the Sport goes around corners - do I have 'M' suspension and tyre specification - 255 35 18 and 225 40 18 ( I have an M steering wheel and sports seats)? For that reason I feel justified in having the badges - still would like the 3.0l though....my wife says we should test ride one - as far as I'm concerned that's a yes - we can get one - we shall see!

My 3.0si side badges came off when I had a front end respray, now I just can't decide whether to replace them. I'm leaning towards doing so just because it breaks up the black a bit but then again the side roundel does that anyway. I just can't decide!!

Rydal, nope, keep it clean - you can see the lines of the car so much better

I am not sure when the car is designed that they factor in the badges too much, unless they are a 'feature' like on the M3 vents. It's almost as if they are a marketing must-have. If I was the designer it'd pain me to see someone spoil the lines of my creation with bits of chromed plastic, especially with as much lettering as the e89 has
