De badge

Anyone got any idea on the best way to de badge a car.
My other car is an Exeo 170 ST and ive decided to de clutter it by removing the badges.

Hot hair dryer , and dental cord, worked for me on a X3 badge.

and some polish after that to remove the out line

Get some fine, nylon monofilament fishing line and 'saw' through the foam pad making sure to pull slightly away from the paintwork. Then carefully pick any remaining foam pad from the paintwork...thumbnail is best ! Clean any glue off with T&G Remover/Solvent then depending on age/colour/condition of the surrounding paintwork you may have to compound/polish the area if the outline or shape of the badge is visible in the clearcoat. Lost count of how many badges I removed when I worked for Halliwell Jones !
