De-badge side badges

Whats the general concensus on de-badging the badges on the front wings, in my case "sDrive 20i"

I always remove the rear badges on my cars (this one was already done) but not sure about the side ones.

I know its a completely individual thing, just wondering if it's widely done or not?

I just boiled a kettle and poured the water over the badge to release the glue, I then immediately used some dental floss to pull behind the badge to release it. Any glue residue will come off with a little bit of tar remover, spirit wipe or meths. Then just a quick polish .

Debadged!

Badges came off easy enough with string and remaining sticky pad bits rubbed off with thumb, but it left an outline of where the badges had been, I guess 7 years of crud stains. Took ages to rub off, tried tar and glue remover but it wasn’t residue, cos when passing finger over it there was no raise.

Used Megs quick detailer and a microfibre and kept rubbing and eventually it all came off.

Coated with c2v3 for now.

Paint feels like sandpaper so it needs a goooood deep clean and clay etc, dont think its ever been done.
