Dave's danglers!

I thought it might be a bit of a laff to get a photo thread going related to the brilliant work that Durham Dave and son Cory do to shift the infamous E85 roof motor into the boot...specifically, if you've had this procedure carried out by Dave or indeed others and let's face it; there are a considerable number of you by now, to post a photo of said spanner-weilding champions' legs/feet dangling during in-boot operations.

I'll kick off with.....
Daves Danglers!

Nice one Marlon!
Is that Cory or yourself off to the side there, taking tips?

Here's mine, Dave and his son did a fantastic job getting mine and Smartbear sorted in just over an hour.
My motor was mint, not bad for an 04 car.

Had mine sorted at the same time as stuartt, but it didn't look like his shiny motor :(
Mine was rescued from the black lagoon & had been bathing in a stew of its own juices :o
It was still working but after some tlc it's now much faster 8)

I think Dave ought to buy a van and do a loop of the UK and clean up !

I was doing a few earlier this year but my customers seem to have dried up - I wonder why !!

Glad you got it done now Stuart, I saw the twinkle in your eye when you saw my motor in the boot. Seeing Dave twisted into your boot made me cringe, especially the way I'm feeling at the moment

A familiar sight now for many a forum member. The motor was in really nice condition with no signs of corrosion, Dave thought the car must have spent most of it's life tucked up in a garage when not in use. Big thanks to Dave and of course Mike for this.

Just as Dave was finishing off mine he took a phone call from another guy wanting his done, he's unleashed a bit of a Hydra for himself .

Nice one dave!

Two questions:
- what does it look like once relocated in the trunk?
- how do they access the motor in the first place - by removing the soft top?

No need to remove hood and dave and son cory are consummate professionals.

Once it's moved and a new piece of carpet put over the top you would never now it's there.

I visited Dave today. He did a great job. Highly recommend him. Was worth the almost 7 hours of driving!

Fortunately my motor was as good as new, totally dry.

There was some water and debris in the drains, so Dave cleared them out too.
