Long first day with the Coupe, washed and waxed etc but the "to do" list is growing!

To do:
Replace front discs and pads - DONE
Replace rear pads - DONE
Fit stubby - DONE
Fit illuminated gear knob - DONE
Paint scratched door handles - DONE
Repair ash tray lid - Fixed
Find the correct Parrot screen for the car kit - Found MKi9200 - DONE
Replace SatNav disc
Source and Fit "M" bumper
Retrofit cup holders - Passenger side found and fitted
Retrofit cruise control
Decide on wheel/tyres options - Kept the 108's and fitted ZZ5's all round
Lose the wheel gap!
Change diff fluid
Z4-Forum decal - DONE
Get "Royals" steering wheel - DONE

Now do I keep the 108's, fit my newly refurb'd 107's or sell the 107's and buy a set of CSL reps?

Look forward to watching this thread grow.
IMO, sell the 107s and 108s and get a set of MV2s for winter and VMR710s for summer.

Looks nice. What did you use to paint the door handles?

Rubbed down with wet and dry, grey plastic primer, Satin black and clear coat, letting them harden off the car for a week before refitting. Iphone pic so not the best but you get the idea, much better than the scratched looked

Thanks for the comments, plan is to get the car back up to standard , the front bumper needs a respray but I'll hold out for an M bumper.

Another little update, new pads on the back and new discs and pads on the front, painted black all round, the front discs were warped and pitted so they had to go, looking much better now.

New Avon ZZ5's fitted today and four wheel geometry set up to correct spec's, wasn't happy when I saw the front tyres that came off the car but it's all sorted now!

The new Avon's are already quieter that the OEM RFT and they have a great rim protector.

Out with the old!

Can't wait to hear how the ZZ5's do. Avon's have a strong following over here in the Bike world but they do have a rep for not lasting.

I finally switched out mine after only getting 3000 miles on a back tire, but like I said that was a scooter.

After having the dash apart last week I found all the bits of the car kit and found out what it was - Parrot MKi9200 - I picked up a replacement screen and remote, hooked everything back up and it works perfectly, the remote buttons got damaged at some point so I need to replace the unit but for the time being I'm just happy I haven't had to replace the whole set up.

The Z has come along way in the passed few weeks, I did let me down two weeks ago but it was just the clutch slave which has been replaced and she's back to full health.

Fitted a steering wheel from Royals today and repainted the trim in satin black.

This wheel

Absolutely love that wheel! How much did they charge, if you don't mind me asking? Fancy the perforated leather and coloured stitching on mine.

I think it's £120 on an exchange basis but I got a bit of a deal (see http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=63144)
