I'm not new but after selling my Roadster in Aug 2011 (It's still owned by a forum member) things just haven't been the same, I tried a 330 convertible, then a Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible ( :headbang: ) and then ended up with a Cooper S (which was great fun). Nothing ever really gave me that warm fuzzy feeling that makes you want to go outside and just look at it so I decided enough was enough, after a bit of shopping around and some serious haggling I picked up a 56reg SI Coupe. It has a great service history and has done less than 4k in the last two years but after sitting unloved outside for many months it needs some serious TLC.

Will be replacing the brakes all round and changing all the fluids in the next couple of weeks, also need to ditch the RFT but all that's for another thread!

Only one picture at the mo, if the weather is decent enough tomorrow I'll start to tidy things up and take some more!

It's good to be back :driving:

Thanks all, it looks great from a distance but the paint has been neglected and needs a serious deep clean. Tomorrows plan - Snow foam - rinse - two bucket wash - rinse - clay bar - snow foam - rinse - polish -wax and seal, ideally it needs a rotary polisher putting over it put I'm yet to buy one

That sounds like a busy day & i,m not sure you,ve allowed enough time for just looking at it :)
Coupe looks great

I remember enquiring about this car but the dealership wasn't interested in my Volvo as part ex. Looks lovely.
PS. I think its the same car. Photo looks very familiar.
