I've always thought that if you have to explain what a number plate is supposed to mean then it's a waste of money.

I have to disagree with this, if it means something to the owner then that's what counts in my opinion

100% agree. Mine (V88 JOR) means nothing to anyone else.. But I was born in 88 and my name is Jordan.. And it's my car 8)
It'll be my plate for the rest of my life

Mine is a nickname that my son was given at birth, bought it when he was a wee'un, and had it on a number of cars for nearly 20 years now. Also a plate for life

My initials are pretty SH1T too :lol: otherwise, fair enough as long as it makes you happy.
I fitted A1*** to my S2000 today. It doesn't read anything (except perhaps "aches" if you read it phonetically and use your imagination) but it's neater than the seven character plate it came with.
