Data Card

Hi

I was wondering if you can get a data card for the Z4 easily?

For our Merc, it is possible to get details of the data card showing the original details of the car as it left the factory - with all option codes etc. You can get this from a Russian site or some people have access to the same thing through Mercedes club. You just need the VIN.

I was wondering if there was an equivalent for the Z4? I searched the forum but I guess it may be called something else. Not particularly important but quite nice to know more about the car.

lol Zac - I went into the dealers and they printed me a copy, no charge at all.

just speak to the parts guy at your local dealer and give him your VIN

I have one for my car. It's titled 'After Sales Assistance Portal ASAP, Vehicle Data'. You need to supply the vehicle id number and it can be isssued in different languages. The sheet is in three sections and shows basic car spec such as engine type, c.c., power, transmission type, colour, manufacturing date etc., then a second part lists order options including codes (some of which may be standard for your market/model) and then series options including codes, again some of which may be standard for your particular market/model. My car is German supplied and spec but I just called a UK dealer (Snows, Isle of Wight, Andy Ball, excellent service) and they emailed it to me within an hour. The German dealers round here are even more useless than you could imagine.
