Good work! Photos of the sensors would be useful - I can't picture them at all, are they obvious when you've got the wheel off?

I've had the same lights on the dashboard once (on a forum run) a couple of months ago and fingers crossed been fine since. But since I'll have all the wheels off soon to swap to my winters I might as well check the sensors out at the same time.

will photo when I can get round to it just follow leads back mostley hidden behind wheel lineing.little black plastic box open to expose two conectors mine had dirt in one full of mud, put a big smile on my face when lights did not come on.

I'd just be careful yanking the sensor wiring around too much - if they are like other vehicles I've had issues with, they are hideously expensive to replace and the wiring, although prone to corrosion or breakage, isn't always easy to remove without terminally damaging the sensor. :(

Had my windscreen replaced a few days ago... ever since then the lights in question have come on and off and on again... doesn't seem to affect performance at all.

I don't quite remember if this was the same light I got or not, but I found out that the rear brakes have hit the sensor and needed to be replaced.

this hapend on mine so i held the traction contoll button down on start up and the lights went off! the functions are as normal again not sure if this helps anyone! try it and see if it works on other ones

These lights just went on on mine 3.0 2004. I just stoped the car and turned it off, restarted and they were gone.

Should i worry or should i just leave it as it is

whats the danger of not repairing it?

Thanks

As I started the thread I'll let you know my outcome of the problem. I did change the break sensors and had new pads fitted but like you said in your post above, turning the car off and leaving it for a bit sorted the problem out. I wouldn't worry about it! Hope that helps!

I had the same issue with lights on dash, this was after slowly driving off the Kerb. I assume sensors may have activated as car was not level....tried the steering trick full lock each way no good. Fortunately for me I found the above post...held traction control button down prior to starting...a succession of beeps and lights went out! :D .....I will make the point of cleaning the sensors as well. Still struggling with the cost that some owners are experiencing to fix this recurring problem....my advice don't give up! most of the answers are on this forum so keep looking
