Lately I've been posting about a dead battery / battery drain. My car has been stored at my parents house so today I went to collect it and bring it home. It's been there for 3 months.
Naturally the battery was dead so I jump started the car and left it running for a while. I went for a 10 minute drive but I noticed that when I put my foot down on the accelerator (at around the 50% mark) some dashboard lights lit up.
Not only did the dashboard light up but I could see the radio light extinguish. It only happened for about half a second then everything returned to normal, but it happened every time I put my foot right down.
I took a quick video but it's a bit blurry. The screenshot is the moment the lights lit up. The lights that lit up were ABS, Parking Brake, Flat Tire Monitor (Amber) and DSC.
Is this just because the battery is so drained?
I've currently got it hooked up to a trickle charger so it'll be a couple of days before I take the car out again.
