Dash lights

Does anyone know if there is a way to change to color of the speedo lights? I really like the all red look that typically comes with a BMW. I'm not sure why the lights are different on the MC. Does anyone know why they're not red?

Yes it's possible, but means de soldering the existing led's and replacing. Somebody on here sent theirs away recently to go from red to white.

Too much work. Thanks for the response. I still don't know why they decided to put white lights in this car.

I much prefer the white lights to red. Looks more unique with a nice white glow.

^^^^+1 and I like that there on even without the exterior lights switched on

I'm pretty sure it was made white to make it different from the regular Z4.
They do it on most M models, it's more modern looking imo.
