What dash cams are people using, are they easy to install?

If you want a nice integrated look, the BimmerTech Dashcam has caught my eye.
It's not cheap, and lacks a screen for playback. I guess you have to pull out the SD card to view anything.
I'm also not sold on the lack of a screen which gives instant feedback on settings, though it does say it works with a companion app.

Is this the advanced Car eye 3?

I was looking at these but it said not compatible with the E89.

Did bmw fit it?

Yes It’s the Advanced car eye 3, yes BMW fitted it, the cost was £354 including fitting. I was thinking of buying the Road Angel at £200 and getting an auto electrician to fit it but that proved problematic. Most auto electricians supply their own preferred brand.

Yes, I went to a BMW dealership like that, their only interest they had was in the size of my wallet, they weren’t really interested in my car at all.
