Dash cam wires

Having fitted my new dash cam into my Z4 soft top and tucked the wires up underneath the windshield lip, I can’t seem to get them to stay put. They just keep falling down. I do not want to use self adhesive clips as in my experience, as soon as the temperature increases, they soften and come off. I certainly don’t want to use glue.
Anyone found a good solution to getting the cable to stay put??

E85 removed the A pillar trim and got some cable ties with expanding backs to clip them in along where holes in the chassis were.
