Hi All,

I'm following this guide (great guide) https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73905

However, I do not have the same loom as discribed...
Could anyone suggest what wire I can tap into for the positive feed?

My options are:

Thanks in Advance, Adam

Don’t go butchering the car unnecessarily, run a feed down the left A pillar to the fuse box where there will be some fuse slots spare 👍

^ I'm with Scooba. The 'A' pillar pulls off so easily and you can get a line from the fuse box. Just take out your left vent and you'll get a clear run.

I would avoid using a scotchlock to splice into the wires already there, if you run a new wire down the A pillar to the fuse board behind the glovebox as others suggest you will find a couple of spare positions bottom left of the board one is permanant live and another ignition fed. Use a piggy back fuse connector to connect into the slot you choose, ignition fed is probably the best one to use.

Thats a link to a standard type fuse, there are mini versions so make sure you buy the correct size, think they are standard on Z4, more modern and Japenese cars tend to use the mini version.
